Matthew C. Tibble
Matthew C. Tibble has published several academic studies on renaissance politics with Historical Research, Brill and Palgrave Macmillan.
He holds a PhD in English Literature and spent many years studying a highly obscure but wonderfully intriguing poet called Nicolaus Mameranus, who ended up at the court of Mary Tudor and made some rather inflammatory remarks about the state of affairs he found there.
Finally, he has for the last decade dreamed obsessively about somewhere called the Hallowed Vale – a place he has been trying to reach in his writing ever since he first discovered the Mirrors of Alvion.
